ERA is a full-service architecture firm with a small studio practice. Founded by Eric Rothfeder in 2017, the studio engages in design-focused residential, commercial, and cultural projects.

Design begins with curiosity—an open-ended inquiry that becomes most meaningful when shared between architect and client. ERA approaches each project as a conversation, guided by questions, problem-solving, and collaboration. Each project reflects the accumulated knowledge of those who live in, design, and construct the built environment.

ERA is located in Chicago between the neighborhoods of Lincoln Park and Lakeview.
